Be Mindful of Fabrics – Each fabric has unique needs:
- Silk & Satin – Avoid water and direct heat; steam lightly to remove wrinkles.
- Lace & Chiffon – Prevent snags by avoiding rough surfaces and jewelry.
- Velvet & Sequin – Never iron; use a soft brush to maintain texture.
- Tulle & Organza – Hang in a steamy room to release creases naturally.
- Cotton & Linen – Steam or iron on low heat; avoid liquids as cotton stains easily.
Be mindful of jewellery, rough surfaces, and Velcro – These can snag or damage delicate fabrics like lace, chiffon, and satin.
Protect the Hemline – For maxi & floor-length dresses, avoid dragging by lifting the hem on stairs or wet surfaces. For midi & knee-length styles, smooth fabric when sitting to prevent creasing.
Prevent Stains & Odours – Apply makeup, perfume, and lotions before putting on your dress. Use a scarf as a barrier when removing your dress to prevent makeup and oil stains. Avoid smoking near delicate fabrics to prevent odour retention.
Store Properly – Always hang structured dresses and fold delicate fabrics to maintain shape.
No DIY Cleaning – If a stain occurs, do not attempt to wash, scrub, or treat it. Return the dress as-is, and our professional cleaning team will take care of it.
